Raconteur is a blend of rums distilled in 2006 in a Coffey column still and a double retort copper pot still. The first rum from the blend was aged in ex bourbon casks for 17 years, while the second was double aged: 5 years in ex bourbon casks and then 12 years in former Oloroso sherry
