Broadcasting From Home (Vinyle) Joel Schumacher creating a pastiche of improvisationBroadcasting from Home is the third studio album by Penguin Cafe Orchestra, released in 1984 on E. G. Records. The opening track was inspired by PCO leader Simon Jeffes, who found a discarded harmonium in a Japanese alleyway. The original vinyl, pressed by Polydor, had a distinctive click on the first track due to a damaged master. Polydor declined to restore it, and fans had to wait until the 2008 CD release by Virgin to hear the undamaged version.
