Description

complexity and great aging potential

Founded in 2004 by Piero Incisa della Rocchetta (grandson of the famed creator of Sassicaia)

balancing the ripe red berry fruit to give a rather serious Bourgogne

The wine buzzes with energy

These pebbles called “Galets Roulés” play a big role: They take in the heat during the day and let it if off slowly at night which gives a good start to the vines in the Spring

Moulin-a-Vent ‘Les Brusssellions’ Louis Boillot 2023 wines complexity and great aging potentialThis is a dead ringer for Burgundian Pinot Noir from 80+ year old vines from a foothill on the eastern side of the appellation. Expressive and light but structured and capable of aging though hard to resist today with its nose of crushed strawberries, wild mushrooms and tart red raspberry. Transparent yet densely layered, truly complex wine in an elegant body. Moulin a Vent is one of the ten "crus" of Beaujolais and is renowned for its granite soils.
