antique leather unusual 1920s Egyptian revival strap or hip belt with decorative cabochons snakeskin heels A really beautifully cheery decoUnusual decorative leather strap or belt? with fancy gilt metal hardware decorated with glass cabochons. I believe the cabochons are probably Gablonz or at least European in the Egyptian revival style a stylised hieroglyphic design. I have added a gilt metal double buckle which will work as a fastener. I havent liked to permanently fix it by pinching the loops, in case you want to use it as a strap. Im really not sure what it was used for originally!
