GlenAllachie 12 Year Old | Chinquapin Virgin Oak Finish Distillery_St.Magdalene Hope is a richReleased as part of the Virgin Oak series from GlenAllachie distillery, this 12 year old single malt was initially matured in ex bourbon barrels (Quercus Alba) then given an extra maturation in for around 18 months in specially selected Chinquapin virgin oak casks. A limited edition release, bottled in 2020 at 48% vol. The Chinquapin casks used for this release were air dried for almost four years, then toasted to a medium level.
