The telescope extends smoothly from 27 cm closed to approximately 78 cm fully extended. It features three brass draw tubes, a turned brass eyepiece and a sliding eye lens dust protector. The main barrel is bound in original textured leather. Unmarked, as is common with mid grade commercial examples of the period. Construction and form are consistent with
