There is a silver button on the heel of the staghorn which is stamped " Callow & Son, Park Lane, London". This stamp dates the whip to between 1852 and 1925. It has a silver plated collar, there are a few dents and dings in the collar & some rubbing of the plating. There are no stamps or engravings. The shaft or stock is covered in brown leather with a finely stitched seam. There is a scuff to the leather
