Royal Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Vase – Shape 4625, Sung-Style X8863 Drip Glaze, Decorated by Cissie Camplin (c.1925–1935) council bars Made by Aboriginal artisans ofA well formed Royal Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase from the interwar period, produced in the 1920s30s and decorated in the sought after Sung style drip glaze. This example is made in shape 4625, a rounded form with stepped collar neck, used by the Lambeth factory for a number of their experimental glaze series. The glaze decoration corresponds to pattern X8863, part of Doultons Sung inspired output, created to emulate the layered, running effects
