Half Plate Daguerreotype ID'd Rhode Island Girl LOUISA ALMY 1850s asia ethnic nanny holding a whiteLarge daguerreotype of a pretty girl identified on the accompanying paper sleeve as Louisa Almy. She was related to the Tillinghast Almy family of Rhode Island. The dag is behind mat and cover glass and has been resealed. It is UNCASED and has quite a few number of scratches over the entire plate hopefully my pics show these well. Size of the plate appears to be half plate with an oversized mat. The mat dimensions are 6. 5" x 5. 5". Boxed shipping.
