The Butterfly Who Stamped sold he told me that oneThis painting is based on one of Rudyard Kiplings Just So Stories. The story is about Solomon and his most beloved wife, Balkis the Queen of Sheba and two quarrelsome but amusing butterflies they happen across in the forest. Ive changed the forest to a garden in my painting, and for me its a painting about a relationship, full of humour, kindness and respect. The painting came, colour by numbers easily and I was thinking about my parents and their
